Knitting Needle Size Chart
All of the patterns here on KnitQ list both the US and Metric needle sizes. However, not all knitting patterns go the extra mile to do this. It’s precisely for this reason we’ve created the below knitting needle size chart.
Some quick tips for using the below conversion table:
- Tip #1: when in doubt, revert to the Metric sizing system.
- Tip #2: the yarn weight recommendations for each needle size may not work for you. If your knitting is significantly tighter or looser than average, you may need to change your needle size accordingly.
