Cambronne Cowl

This versatile cowl uses the same garter stitch and double seed stitch combination as the Cambronne Beanie. The Cambronne Cowl sits close to the neck for ultimate warmth.

After knitting the Cambronne Beanie, I was left with half a skein of Yarn Bee Warm & Cozy yarn. I returned this half skein to my stash, where it was quickly buried amongst all the other yarns.

A few months later, a cold spell hit. I was wearing my Cambronne Beanie nearly every day, and I realized the yarn was holding up remarkably well! It wasn’t pilling, it retained its shape, and it was still as soft as the day I bought it. It was in this moment I decided I should finish the skein (something I rarely ever do), and a cowl would be the perfect project for it.

This cowl was designed with winter weather in mind. The ribbed edge folds down to hug the neck, creating a double layer of coziness. It’s stretchy enough to fit most necks, but it can be sized up for a more loose, relaxed style.
